Due to the ice and slippery road conditions, there will be a two-hour late start for school today with no morning preschool (Tuesday/January 23rd).

Due to the water main break on 9th Street, the middle school and high school will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m. today, (Thursday/January 18th). The elementary school will follow its normal dismissal time.

Due to the ongoing wind chill warning, there will be no school on Tuesday, January 16th.

To avoid conflicting with Iowa's Caucuses the Camanche School Board has moved their January meeting to Tuesday, January 16th at 7:00 p.m.

Due to the winter storm forecast, there will be no school on Friday, January 12th.

Due to the ongoing cleaning after the plumbing issue, there will be no school for only the elementary school (Thursday, January 4th and Friday, January 5th.) I am sending a letter to elementary school parents via JMC email later today to further explain this situation. The High School and Middle School will have classes on these days.

There will be no school for Only the Elementary School on Wednesday, January 3rd. This is due to a plumbing problem that occurred and to provide the time needed for clean-up and sanitation. Classes will go on as normal at both the Middle and High Schools. Please feel free to contact your building principal or me with questions or concerns. Thank you.

Just a reminder that our Open House/Ribbon Cutting/Cornerstone Ceremony, followed by tours, will be tomorrow (11/15) at the high school theatre beginning at 6:00 p.m. This event celebrates our new and renovated facilities and our community's support in making this possible.

New Auxiliary Gym nearing completion. Batting cage net and bleachers coming soon.

Construction update as of 7-19-23. Chorus room, wrestling room, auxiliary gym, and fitness room all on track to open for the start of the school year. Theatre on track for a fall performance.
