THANK YOU

A big THANK YOU to the many families that attended Parent/Teacher Conferences last week! If you were unable to make your child’s conferences, we urge you to contact your child’s teacher to try to reschedule. Our goal is 100% participation!

Another big THANK YOU to the members of the PTA for providing a meal for our staff during conferences and to all those that brought in snacks and treats!

CRAYOLA COLORCYCLE

Our school has just sent another 365 markers to Crayola to be recycled. More than 1650 markers have been recycled instead of being dumped into the landfill! We are proud of everyone working together to help our environment! If you have any markers that are dried out, please send them to school. Mrs. Kennedy has a specially marked box for all the dried up markers. We will send another box of markers to Crayola near the end of the school year. Keep up the great work CES!

CULTURE FAIR

Would you like to learn more about other countries? Would you like to see interesting projects complete with eye catching display boards? If so, please attend the Culture Fair Open Houses coming up! The 4th grade Culture Fair Open House will be held on Thursday, March 28th from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. and the 3rd grade Culture Fair Open House will be held on Thursday, April 4th from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Both will be in the elementary school gym and will provide many learning opportunities about other countries.

CULTURE FAIR PARADE

Come join the fun! All students are invited to participate in our school’s Culture Fair parade. Any student can bring an item from another country or wear some clothing from another country and be in the Culture Fair parade. The parade is April 2nd and begins at 2:15 p.m. Our parade is mostly within the building. Families are invited to watch the parade.

THANK YOU!

Thank you so much to everyone that made our second annual Family Reading Night a big success! We are thrilled that so many families attended this event! We especially want to thank all of our speakers and room hosts for all of their time and commitment.  We also want to thank Mrs. Stephan and Mrs. Kennedy for all of the time and hard work they put in to creating and organizing this event.
