GO STORM!
Any student leaving during the day due to a doctor appointment, dental appointment or illness MUST have a parent call by 9:00 am and check out in the office before leaving. Failure to check out of the building or report back into the building properly from an appointment or coming in late will result in an unexcused absence.
Crossing Intersections
**Make sure to look both ways before crossing an intersection. **If the intersection has a button to push for a flashing light, PUSH the BUTTON and still look both ways for traffic before crossing the intersection. **The intersection of S. Washington Blvd. and 9th Avenue is going to be extremely busy due to the construction. Students need to PUSH the BUTTON, the lights will go on, and then they can proceed to cross once traffic stops.
Speech/Theater Meeting – There will be a meeting for anyone interested in theater/speech on Wed., Sept. 7, at 1:50 pm in Mr. Myatt’s classroom (Room 654).
Drivers Education Class – The Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency’s Driver Education Program will be holding a session at Camanche High School. Thirty hours of asynchronous online instruction and six hours behind-the-wheel instruction per student is provided over a three-week time period. Stop in the High School Office for an informational pamphlet.
