THANK YOU

Thank you to ADM for funding a grant to Camanche Elementary Robotics program. ADM will be providing funds to purchase specific STEM materials to further develop participating students’ skills in coding, creativity, problem solving, and collaboration. The items being purchased include a littleBits class set, SPIKE PRIME expansion sets, and SPIKE PRIME essentials. We greatly appreciate ADM’s support of our robotics program.

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to Sophia Morrow for her excellence in the Dispatch-Argus Regional Spelling Bee! This competition is part of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. It was held at Augustana College. There were 36 participants. All were the champions of their school spelling bee. The students were from various elementary and middle schools in the Quad Cities area. Sophia did a wonderful job. She made it to the 3rd round of the spelling competition. We are proud of Sophia.

FROM MRS. MUNSON

This week discuss with your student: “We don’t have to be friends, but we do have to be respectful”. We do not have to agree and be best friends with everyone we meet, but it is important to show respect and empathy. This is a very important skill to learn in order to be successful working alongside others not only now, but in the future. Check out these articles to help with teaching kids respect at home:
