CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to Sophia Morrow for her excellence in the Dispatch-Argus Regional Spelling Bee! This competition is part of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. It was held at Augustana College. There were 36 participants. All were the champions of their school spelling bee. The students were from various elementary and middle schools in the Quad Cities area. Sophia did a wonderful job. She made it to the 3rd round of the spelling competition. We are proud of Sophia.

FROM MRS. MUNSON

This week discuss with your student what including others means. When we include others, it opens ourselves up to different ideas, perspectives, and thoughts. Including others in your circle is important because you never know what you may be able to teach (and learn from!) each other. Here are some articles on teaching inclusion to children: https://www.boystown.org/parenting/article/Pages/Five-Tips-for-Raising-Children-Who-Celebrate-Diversity.aspx
