BREAKFAST REMINDER
Just a reminder that non-bus riding students that eat breakfast at school are encouraged to come to school by 7:45 a.m. to allow enough time for them to have a healthy school breakfast before the school day starts. Breakfast is currently FREE for ALL students.
WINTER MUSIC PROGRAM
Camanche Elementary Families: It’s hard to believe, but the time of year has come where we are working on our annual winter program. The children are already doing incredible work! Below is some basic information about the program. We will be getting more information to you in the coming weeks. Please keep checking the newsletter and class dojo. Location: Camanche High School Gym
Time(s): Afternoon: 1:30 p.m. – This will be a TK-4th grade program (Students will be bussed to and from this program)
Evening: 6:00 p.m. -- TK-2nd Grade
7:00 p.m. -– 3rd-4th Grade
COATS FOR KIDS
Cold weather is here! If you or your child(ren) are in need of a winter coat, please contact Janeen Reuter at 563-259-3016 or jareuter@camanche.org. We have new to gently used coats (children through men’s/women’s sizes) that we are able to give to anyone in need. Remember that all information is kept strictly confidential. Also, if you would like to donate a new or gently used coat and/or clothing, you can drop it off in the main office during business hours. Thank you!
SCHOOL PICTURES & RETAKES – NEXT TUESDAY!
If you are dissatisfied with your child’s picture or if your child was absent on picture day, Lifetouch will return on Tuesday, November 23rd to take new pictures. All pieces of the original picture packet must be returned for a student to have their picture retaken. If your student was absent on picture day, please order online using code: EVTTXZ7DN. Thank you!

Dear Caregivers, Counseling lessons have been focused on “I can use my strategies to calm down”. Camanche Elementary students spend a lot of time learning and practicing strategies to help them regulate. As a district we want to instill positive life skills that will aid in students’ future success. We have counseling lessons focused on calm down strategies that can be used at any time and anywhere. ~ Cookie Kit Fundraiser TODAY from 3:30-6:00 p.m. in the CES gym!
~Our last fundraiser of the year is in full swing! We’re selling ENGRAVED PERSONALIZED metal cake pans and water bottles. This fundraiser goes through the 28th of November and will delivery before Christmas.
~ We are also having a FREE event on Sunday, December 12th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the CES cafeteria – Cookies with Santa
