FALL FEST TOMORROW!
Camanche Elementary classes will be celebrating fall with a Fall Fest tomorrow. Thank you so much to the families that have sponsored a snack and drink for their child’s classrooms! The Camanche CSD Food Service department will deliver healthy snacks and juice boxes to us tomorrow. Thank you for keeping our students safe!
SCHOOL PICTURES & RETAKES
School pictures are in and should have come home with your students this week! If you are dissatisfied with your child’s picture or if your child was absent on picture day, Lifetouch will return on Tuesday, November 23rd to take new pictures. All pieces of the original picture packet must be returned for a student to have their picture retaken. If your student was absent on picture day, please order online using code: EVTTXZ7DN. Thank you!
ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE
Stuff the Tree for Winter Food Drive! The elementary school will be participating in a food drive for the Camanche Food Pantry from November 1st through November 19th 2021. Each class will be participating (including preschool!) and whichever class brings in the most “nuts” (food and/or money) will receive the traveling trophy and a special treat! Each class will have its own box and have a squirrel to watch climbing the tree… No one will know exactly how many each class brings in until the end! Let’s see who can squirrel away the most food in 2021!!!

It has been a pleasure celebrating Red Ribbon Week as a school and having dress up days to raise awareness. The students have pledged to make healthy choices. If you get a chance, drive by our school fence to see all their red ribbons! NEWS FROM THE PTA
~ Our next fundraiser is the Thanksgiving themed cookie sets from Cake Fantasies By Ashley. The kit includes 9 baked cookies, 3 frostings, and 3 sprinkle containers. It will be $15 per kit. We will be taking orders from October 29th – November 5th, with pickup for the kits on November 18th from 3:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. in the CES gym. Keep an eye out for order forms coming home with your children.
~ Our November fundraising night is Vitales Pizza Friday November 5th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. You must mention CES when ordering!
~ If you are interested in joining the PTA, feel free to come to the meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
