BIRTHDAY TREATS – PLEASE READ
Birthday treats are available to order from the Camanche CSD Food Service department. They must be ordered ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE of the date you would like them delivered to your student’s classroom. Please see the attached Birthday Snack order form. FALL FEST
Camanche Elementary will be celebrating fall with a Fall Fest on Friday, October 29th. We ask that any family that wishes to purchase a snack and drink for their student’s classroom make their purchase through the CES main office. Cost is .90 per student. For example, a classroom that has 20 students would cost $18.00. All orders are due by FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15th. Thank you for keeping our students safe!

Last week and this week students learned about what it means to be frustrated. Along with this we discussed: “All of our feelings are ok, actions are OK or not OK”. Our children should know that it is normal to feel strong emotions at times! The important thing is that we are dealing with these emotions appropriately. NEWS FROM THE PTA
~ Thank you to all who purchased items from the CES Storm Apparel Webstore!
~ Who’s ready for some skele-ton of fun? The Monster Mash is THIS Saturday, October 16th from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. This event will be $10 per family for entry. Pizza slices for $2 and water for $1. Remember costumes must be school appropriate! (Nothing scary or gory) Games, prizes, and dancing. We hope to see you all there!
~ The Club’s Choice Fundraiser pickup is Monday, October 18th from 3:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Items can be picked up in the CES gym.
~ Our next fundraiser is the Thanksgiving themed cookie sets from Cake Fantasies By Ashley. The kit includes 9-12 baked cookies, 4 frostings, and 4 sprinkle containers. It will be $15 per kit. We will be taking orders from October 29th – November 5th, with pickup for the kits on November 18th from 3:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. in the CES gym. Keep an eye out for order forms coming home with your children.
~ If you are interested in joining the PTA, feel free to come to the meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
