NO SCHOOL TOMORROW

Just a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL TOMORROW.

STATE BASKETBALL

Congratulations to the Boys’ Basketball Team on reaching the State Basketball Tournament! Under normal circumstances, we would be talking about adjusting school schedules to facilitate student and staff attendance at this great event. Unfortunately, we still have not returned completely to a “normal circumstances” situation. The combination of the COVID-19 Pandemic and days of school postponed due to winter weather has dramatically impacted this school year’s calendar. As a result, we will run our normally scheduled school days during the state basketball tournament. If we did not do this, we would possibly need to keep the school year in session well into the month of June to meet state attendance requirements. Students will be allowed to attend Camanche game(s) at the state tournament if they follow their building principal’s expectations/procedures regarding student attendance at the state tournament. Thank you for your understanding of this situation and GOOD LUCK to our Boys’ Basketball Team!

CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations to Sheryl Kennedy for being selected as the Southeast Iowa Region’s recipient of the 2021 Iowa STEM Teacher Award. This award recognizes Mrs. Kennedy’s exceptional dedication toward increasing student interest and achievement in STEM fields and careers in innovative and outstanding ways.
