CES TURKEY TROT

I hope anyone isn’t in a food coma from all these non-perishable food items being donated! There is almost enough food to have a big Thanksgiving feast and the race isn’t even over yet! Will Miss Cassie’s preschool class stay in first or will Ms. Mink’s 1st grade class trot by them for the win?? Miss Cassie’s preschool class won last week! Today was the last day to bring in your non-perishable food items and/or donations of money. Which class turkey can sprint the fastest to the Thanksgiving table to try to win the TURKEY TROT?! Leftovers aren’t for quitters!  The official winner will be announced next week!

FROM THE TEACHER LIBRARIAN

Throughout this month you may be seeing a paper with highlighted book titles and dates in your child’s book bag. These are a reminder that the books are still unaccounted for from last school year. We have done a full inventory of our library and have not seen them. If you would please use this paper as a reminder to take a look around the house, check any old book bags from last year, and even vehicles, we would appreciate it. Any books that are found can be returned to school with your child, and their teacher will get them to us. Toward the end of 2020, we will be creating fines for the materials that are not found. Thanks so very much for your attention to this.                        ~ Mrs. Grim
