RED RIBBON WEEK – NEXT WEEK!
Red Ribbon Week is a time to learn about the importance of making healthy choices, keeping our brains and bodies healthy, and staying drug-free. It is also a great opportunity to remind students to be kind, stand up against bullying, and make our school a safe and welcoming place for everyone!
Throughout the week, students will participate in fun dress-up days and have conversations about making healthy choices, being inclusive, treating others with kindness, and identifying trusted adults they can go to for help. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in an optional pledge to commit to making healthy choices and keeping themselves safe and healthy.
Red Ribbon Week Dress Up Days
Monday – Comfy & Cozy Day – Be comfortable in your choices! Stay drug- and bully-free.
Tuesday – Red Out – Wear red to stand against drugs and bullying.
Wednesday – Hat Day – Put a cap on drugs and bullying.
Thursday – Silly Socks/Mismatch Day – It’s cool to be different! Be inclusive and kind.
Friday – Costume Day – Wear your Halloween costume (school-appropriate) and scare away drugs and bullying!
We look forward to a fun week of celebrating healthy choices, kindness, and making Camanche Elementary a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and included!
