Storm Girls Wrestling Club
Big News for our girls’ program. We will be hosting a GIRLS NIGHT ONLY for grades K-6th
Once you are signed up, please reach out via Facebook messenger so we can get you into our Band App where practice, events, etc will be posted.
WELCOME TO THE STORM GIRLS WRESTLING CLUB. ️
The main purpose is to create a girls-only environment where younger athletes can learn wrestling, build confidence, and become comfortable in the sport.
With our middle school and high school girls program continuing to grow, we think giving younger girls an opportunity to learn alongside other girls could help create a stronger connection to the program before they reach middle school.
The focus will be on fundamentals, movement, basic technique, having fun, and building relationships—not competition or putting pressure on them to wrestle. We want it to be an inviting environment where a girl who has never stepped on a wrestling mat can come in and feel like she belongs.
Now, don't get me wrong. They will compete during practice and area tournaments will be announced for them to attend, however, it is always up to the girls and their parents whether they sign up for tournaments or not.
This club also give us an opportunity to begin building a stronger K–12 girls wrestling pathway within Camanche and hopefully continue growing the Storm girls program from the ground up.
***This Will NOT replace our Camanche Storm Youth Wrestling program.***
We look forward to seeing many new faces and future Camanche Storm Girls Wrestlers enter the room soon.
