FROM MRS. MUNSON
Family Reflection of the Week: “Look How Far I’ve Come”. As we wrap up the school year, we invite you to spend some time reflecting with your child on just how much they have grown. Talk together about how far they’ve come over the past year – the new skills they’ve learned, the academic progress they’ve made, and the ways they’ve grown socially and emotionally. Celebrating growth helps children build confidence and recognize the value of their hard work.
You might ask:
· What is something you can do now that you couldn’t do at the beginning of the year?
· What is something you’re really proud of?
· How have you grown as a friend and classmate?
Most importantly, we hope you have a wonderful summer filled with rest, fun, and special time together as a family – especially outdoors! We can’t wait to welcome you back in the fall, ready for another year of learning and growing together.
You may enjoy reading these books as you celebrate the end of the school year:
· The Egg by M. P. Robertson
· A Letter to My Teacher by Deborah Hopkinson
· Last Day Hooray! By Nancy Poydar
DATES TO REMEMBER
May 28th Kindergarten to City Park
May 29th LAST DAY OF SCHOOL (provided we have no cancellations)
Yours in education,
Aimee Dohse – Principal
