The FAFSA is Now Open!
If you're planning to attend a college or trade school, now is the time to get started! The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is a crucial step in securing financial aid — and I’m here to help.
Important: As a student, you must complete your portion of the FAFSA before your parents can complete theirs.
This is a time-sensitive process — the sooner you apply, the better your chances of receiving aid.
If you complete your FAFSA by October 28th, you’ll be entered into a drawing — 10 names will be drawn for a chance to win a prize!

Band & Choir Concerts – Grades 7/8 and HS choir concerts will be held on Weds., December 10 at 7:15 pm; Grades 5-12 Band concerts will be held on Thurs., December 11 at 6:00 p.m. All concerts will be held in the HS Auditorium.
Sharing Tree News
The Camanche Sharing Tree is designed to provide low-income families and/or those undergoing financial hardships during the holiday season with Christmas gifts and food baskets. To be eligible you must be within the Camanche School District or attending Camanche Community Schools.
If you need help this Christmas, please fill out and mail this form to Camanche Sharing Tree, P. O. Box 171, Camanche, IA 52730, no later than Wednesday, November 12th. This form is available on the school website (www.camanche.k12.ia.us). NO FORMS WILL BE MAILED OUT.
Food baskets and gifts may be picked up on Tuesday, December 16th, from 9:00 a.m. until NOON and from 3:30 until 5:00 p.m. Food baskets should be picked up first at the Camanche Community Center located at 323 9th Avenue, Camanche and the gift items can be picked up at the Masonic Lodge in Camanche located on the corner of 9th Avenue and 3rd Street.
Christmas on the Avenue – This annual tree lighting event will be held on Friday, December 5th at 5th Ave. South and South 1st Street in Clinton from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Presented by: Downtown Clinton Alliance and CHS Synergy Students.
Drivers Education Class – Do you have a student getting ready to drive? Mississippi Bend AEA offers a Driver Education Program to meet your student's needs.
