FROM MRS. MUNSON

A topic for this week is “change takes time”. There are two types of changes; changes we can control and changes that we cannot control. BOTH take time! When an unexpected change happens in our lives (ex. death of a loved one, parents splitting up) it can take time to adjust to it. Here are some tips that an help children and adults adjust to unexpected changes: https://www.successconsciousness.com/blog/tips-for-life/tips-for-dealing-with-surprises-and-unexpected-events/ When we think about a change that we are in control of (ex. changing a certain behavior, eating healthier, exercising more) it can take time to work it into our routine and stick with it! We recognize that we might not see successful results right away. The key strategy for getting through any change is a positive mindset!
