CONGRATULATIONS!
Congratulations to our school’s Battle of the Books teams! In the fourth-grade division, the team of Hunter Gravert, Lincoln Petersen, and Brantley Weller earned 1st place while the team of Elizabeth Carstensen, Maclen Davis, Emily Glahn, and Hadley Witt earned 2nd place. In the third-grade division, the team of Jenna Lehmkuhl, Harper Mink, Mckinley Schwandt, and Autumn Snodgrass took 1st place, and the team of Ben Clark, Brynne Hilgendorf, Mason Panich, and Wyatt Petersen earned 2nd place. We are incredibly proud of these dedicated and determined individuals.
I-SMILE PROGRAM
The I-Smile School Program is coming to Camanche Elementary School May 15th and 16th. This program provides dental screenings, fluoride applications, and dental sealants at NO COST. It is available to students in kindergarten - third grade. Consent forms are due back to CES by FRIDAY, MAY 9TH.

This week’s topic is “Perseverance: I keep trying and I will never give up”. This life skill is a major indicator of future success in meeting our short-term and long-term goals. It does not always come naturally, but the good news is that we can develop it. Talk with your child about goals you have set or situations you have been in where you had to persevere.
