Congratulations! – The following individual Speech members qualified for State speech for next week: Chloe Handy, Sydney Schutte, Sean McDermott, Madison Thompson, Camryn Saxon and Katera Scott (who qualified in two events).  Great job to everyone who participated at Districts on Saturday

Blood Drive – The Camanche High School Blood Drive will be held on Mon., March 23 from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm in the Media Center.  Donors must be 17 years old (or 16 years old with a parental consent form) and weigh at least 110 pounds.  Donors must also be in good health a feeling well on this day.  Prospective donors should eat a full meal within four hours of donating – avoiding fried, fatty foods and whole dairy products.  A photo ID is required to donate and 8 weeks must have passed since your last donation.

March 10 – B BB State (V) – vs. Monticello @ Wells Fargo Arena, Des Moines – 9:30 am

March 13 – G Track (V) – vs. University of Dubuque @ University of Dubuque – 4:00 pm

March 14 – B Track (V) – vs. University of Dubuque @ University of Dubuque – 10:30 am

Yearbooks – 2020 yearbooks are on sale for $55.00.  Anyone interested in purchasing a yearbook should see Mrs. Sheppard or any yearbook staff member.

Any student leaving during the day due to a doctor appointment, dental appointment or illness MUST have a parent call by 9:00 am and check out in the office before leaving.  Failure to check out of the building or report back into the building properly from an appointment or coming in late will result in an unexcused absence.

 

Reminder – Please DO NOT leave books and/or chromebooks sitting in the hallways or commons after school as they are likely to be damaged or stolen.  Any books/chromebooks found will be taken to the office.

 

Activity Passes – Student = $30.00; Adult = $60.00; Family = $125.00. There will be a $2.00 replacement fee charged for lost passes.

 

Student ID/Lunch Cards – There will be a $2.00 fee charged for lost cards.

 

Parking Permits/Tags – ALL students driving to school MUST have a valid parking tag hanging on the rearview mirror facing out.  The parking lot will be checked and vehicles parked without a parking permit will face consequences.  The cost of a parking tag is $5.00 and may be purchased in the office with a completed parking permit form from Mrs. Walters.

 

The Junior class still has garbage bags for sale.  The cost is $15.00 per box of 100 bags.  Please contact a Junior or call the High School at 563-259-3008 to order.
