Our final meeting of the year will be Tuesday, May 14th at 6pm in the CES cafeteria. We would love to see you there! The PTA will need a new board starting the 2025-2026 school year. There is one member who will have students at the elementary school. The PTA will not be able to continue with only one member. The PTA funds field trips, hosts the Monster Mash, Ties and Tiaras, the Holiday Shop, the yearbook, and funding items that enhance the students learning experience. If you have thought about joining, next year would be a great opportunity! Feel free to contact Erin Ohsann or Jessica Volz. We can be contacted through our Camanche Elementary PTA Facebook Messenger and stormpta@yahoo..com. GO STORM!
FROM MRS. MUNSON
A great topic to discuss as a family is: “Perseverance: I keep trying and I will never give up”. This life skill is a major indicator of future success in meeting our short term and long term goals. It does not always come naturally, but the good news is that we can develop it. Talk with your child about goals you have set or situations you have been in where you had to persevere. Here are some ways we can help develop children’s perseverance: https://www.brighthorizons.com/resources/Article/encouraging-grit-and-teaching-perseverance-to-children
