WINTER CLASSROOM PARTIES

Camanche Elementary classrooms will have their winter parties on Thursday, December 21st. Please call the CES main office if you would like to purchase a snack and drink for your student’s classroom. Cost is $1.10 per student and includes BOTH the snack and drink. For example, a classroom that has 20 students would cost $22.00. All orders are due by FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15TH. Thank you for keeping our students safe!

EARLY DISMISSAL

The Camanche School District will have a one-hour early dismissal on Thursday, December 21st. Camanche Elementary will dismiss at 2:08/2:15.

GEARING UP FOR WINTER

We would like to remind parents and students that our school policy states that ALL children go outside for recess unless they have a note from their family physician stating a need for them to remain indoors, or if the temperature (actual or wind chill) is less than ten degrees.

Students should come to school each day dressed for that day’s weather. Please take a moment to make sure that you child’s name is written on all of their outerwear. Students are required to have snow boots and snow pants in order to go off the blacktop area and play in the snow.

If you are unable to provide your child(ren) with the needed outerwear, please contact Janeen Reuter, the district Family Resource Coordinator at 563-259-3016.

FINE ARTS FUNDRAISER

The Camanche Fine Arts Department needs your help! The new theater is beautiful and coming along quite nicely! The first show The Music Man was a great success and we can’t wait to showcase many more productions for years to come. With the new theater being almost complete, there are many ‘odds and ends’ we have found necessary for the continued success of our students and shows such as: tools for set building, wireless mics and mic belts, ladders, clothing racks, shelving units, etc. This is where we need some additional hep from our loyal supporters! In addition to local donations, the Fine Arts Boosters will be applying for funds from local grant sources as well.

Please consider making a monetary donation or contacting Fine Arts Boosters at CamancheFAB@gmail.com if you can help by donating needed items or in any other way! Please click here to donate directly to Camanche Fine Arts: https://ia-camanche-lite.intouchreceipting.com/DramaFundraiser

THANK YOU in advance for your continued support of the Camanche Fine Arts programs!
