Any student leaving during the day due to a doctor appointment, dental appointment or illness MUST have a parent call by 9:00 am and check out in the office before leaving. Failure to check out of the building or report back into the building properly from an appointment or coming in late will result in an unexcused absence. In order to have doctor, dentist, physical therapy, chiropractic, etc., medical absences excused, students must bring in a completed note from their office upon their return (a faxed note will be excused as well).
SENIORS: Please bring a lawn chair to the cookout on Friday, May 26 at 11:00 am
Driver Education Program – The Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency’s Driver Education Program will be holding a session at your school this summer. Thirty hours of asynchronous online instruction and six hours behind-the-wheel instruction per student is provided over a three-week time period.

When & Who: Monday, June 19th – Friday, June 23rd students who have completed:
1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades (Group A): 8:00am – 9:30am
5th, 6th, and 7th grades (Group B): 8:00am – 9:30am
8th – 12th grades: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Where: Camanche High School Cafeteria
1st through 7th grades will learn about numerous aspects of theatre including improvisation, technical theatre, and a musical theatre number. A showcase will be held at 9:00 on Friday.
8th- 12th grades will learn about Speech opportunities in high school and audition techniques using audition material for CHS 2023-24 productions.

Graduation Items – Seniors who were not able to pick up their graduation caps/gowns and other items are able to do so in the office. Please note that all orders must be paid in full in order to pick them up. If you have any questions or need to pay off your balance by credit card, please call 1-800-JOSTENS (1-800-567-8367).
Great River Aquatics Club (GRAC) – GRAC is offering competitive and leisure swimming for youth and adults. For program features and registration details, please see flyers hanging in the hallways.
Summer Meal Program – Students, up to the age of 18, have the ability to go to either Eagle Heights Elementary or Jefferson Elementary schools in Clinton to participate in the summer meal program. There is no charge for these breakfasts or lunches. The program runs Monday through Friday, June 12th – June 30th and July 10th – Aug. 4th from 7:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m. (breakfast) and from 11 a.m. -12:30 p.m. (lunch).
Activity Passes – Student = $40.00; Adult = $70.00; Family = $150.00. There will be a $2.00 replacement fee charged for lost passes.
Student ID/Lunch Cards – There will be a $2.00 fee charged for lost cards.
