PAJAMA DAY 2020

Let’s ease our way into the New Year by wearing our pajamas to school on Monday, January 6th! We hope you come back to school rested, relaxed, and ready to go for a great second half of the school year! Please wear your favorite pajamas or something fun and comfortable on our first day back from Winter Break!

FROM THE MUSIC STUDIO

Thank you to all that came to our winter music programs last week! The kids did a wonderful job and we appreciate your support. With your donations, the music department raised over $500 for materials. Thank you all and have a wonderful break!                        -Miss Jen, Music Teacher

KINDERGARTEN ROUND UP

We are starting a list of upcoming kindergarten students for the 2020-2021 school year. If you have a child who will turn five years old on or before September 15, 2020 please call our office at 259-3016 to get their name added to our round up list!

CONGRATULATIONS LEGO TEAMS!

CES is so proud of both of our school Lego League and Jr. Lego League teams.  The Great Eight, our 4th grade team, did a terrific job of competing in their Regional against teams in grades 4-8. The Life Savers Jr. Lego League team earned the Rising Star award at their regional event. The Rising Star award is for a team that goes above and beyond in their research and presentation.

HEALTHY HABITS CALENDAR

Just a reminder that any students that complete at least 23 days of activities listed on the December Healthy Habits Calendar AND return the calendar to school on our first day back after Winter Break will receive an extra recess with Mr. D.!

CES READING GOAL

We have read 50,642 minutes. Please help us reach our goal of 109,000 minutes over the holidays by reading and having your children read to you, or any other family member, whenever you get a chance. Thank you for being so supportive of this goal! We are seeing a positive correlation between students reading amounts and their fluency. We will have a crazy sock and neon day in January if/when we reach our goal.

ATTENDANCE

If your student is going to be absent, will arrive late, or needs to leave early, please make sure to call the main office no later than 9 a.m. on the day of the absence, tardy, or early dismissal.

Our attendance is currently 96.62%. As a school, we have set a goal of 96.5%. Thank you for working with us to reach that goal, EVERY DAY matters.
