Students will be separated by gender for this discussion. If you have any questions in regards to the program, please contact Mrs. Hullinger or Mr. DeNeve.
CONGRATULATIONS MOON SAVERS!
The Moon Savers, Camanche Elementary School’s third grade Jr. Lego League team, did a fantastic job at the World Championship! Only 60 of more than 20,000 Jr. Lego League teams were invited to compete at this event in Detroit, Michigan. The judges evaluated the teams in 8 categories. The Moon Savers earned an outstanding rating in each of the 8 categories! They were awarded the Discover and Show trophy because of their research and how they showed what they learned. Members of the Moon Savers are Beau Bigwood, Jenna Dunlap, Archer Kelly, Autumn Klahn, Mia Macke, and Kennedy Melchiori. They are coached by Sheryl Kennedy.
The Moon Savers greatly appreciated the financial support from John Deere, Clinton National Bank, Citizens First Bank, and the Camanche Elementary PTA.
If your student is going to be absent, will arrive late, or needs to leave early, please make sure to call the main office no later than 9 a.m. on the day of the absence, tardy or early dismissal.
Our attendance is currently 95.65%. We as a school have set a goal of 97%. Thank you for working with us to reach that goal, EVERY DAY matters.
REGIONAL BATTLE OF THE BOOKS
The Eastern Iowa Regional Battle of the Books will be held May 13th in Bettendorf for students in grades 3 and 4. Members of the third grade team are Kyla Cude, Jenna Dunlap, Sofia Jacobo, Autumn Klahn, Kiara Krueger, Olivia Steines, Vinny Srp, and Chloe Toler.
