There will be a fundraising night for Gateway After Prom on Wed. May 8 at Happy Joe's from 5pm – 8pm.  Gateway After Prom will receive a portion of the sales.  Come enjoy the buffet or get a pizza to go!

PROM 2019 - Prom will be held on Sat., May 11 from 8pm – 11pm in the High School Gymnasium.  Sign-up will begin on Mon., April 29 in the Office; the cost is $25.00 per person.  Deadline to sign up is Weds., May 8.  Guest Registration Forms for non-Camanche High School guests who want to attend the dance will also be available at this time and must be turned in NO LATER than 3:15pm on Weds., May 8.  The Grand March/Coronation will be held at 4:00pm in the CHS Gym.  For more information, please call the office at 563-259-3008.

Gateway After Prom will be held on May 11 from 11:00pm – 3:00am at Clinton High School.  GAP is excited to announce that there will be a new activity this year...Arm Wrestling!  There will be two men's divisions and one for women!  Prizes will be awarded to the winners.  Come to GAP and compete!  There will also be many chances to win prizes and there is a 100% chance of FUN!  Hypnotist Brian Imbus is back again, plus Escape Rooms, Bingo, Inflatables, Laser Tag, Ping Pong and Bags tourneys and lots of food.  Doors open at 11 and the cost is $5.00.

 

The Genesis VNA is offering the meningococcal (MenACWY) vaccines to all 11th graders who qualify. This vaccine is required prior to school in the fall under Iowa law for all students entering the 12th grade unless a valid exemption is provided. The vaccine is at no cost and a clinic will be scheduled in the spring and administered here at school on May 7, 2019. 

 

The 2019 Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) – The Youth Hunter Education Challenge is an advanced hunter education program designed to build and further develop skills taught in basic hunter education courses. Participants must be 18 years old or younger and have completed a State Hunter Education Course. Parent or guardian permission is required.

The Junior class still has garbage bags for sale.  The cost is $15.00 per box of 100 bags.  Please contact a Junior or call the High School at 563-259-3008 to order.  Quantities are limited so don’t delay!

Attendance – Any student leaving during the day due to a doctor appointment, dental appointment or illness MUST have a parent call by 9:00am and check out in the office before leaving.  Failure to check out of the building or report back into the building properly from an appointment or coming in late will result in an unexcused absence.
