Camanche Days Cookbook Cover Competition – Create a cookbook cover that incorporates ALL the years from 1980-2019: the shape of Iowa, the Indian Head, and the words “40 years of celebration”. There will be a prize for the winner. Turn the posters in by May 1st to the Middle School Office, Mrs. Wallace, Madison DeWitt-Sprout or Aubriana Graves.
The Genesis VNA is offering the meningococcal (MenACWY) vaccines to all 11th graders who qualify. This vaccine is required prior to school in the fall under Iowa law for all students entering the 12th grade unless a valid exemption is provided. The vaccine is at no cost and a clinic will be scheduled in the spring and administered here at school on May 7, 2019.
The 2019 Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) – The Youth Hunter Education Challenge is an advanced hunter education program designed to build and further develop skills taught in basic hunter education courses. Participants must be 18 years old or younger and have completed a State Hunter Education Course. Parent or guardian permission is required.

Attendance – Any student leaving during the day due to a doctor appointment, dental appointment or illness MUST have a parent call by 9:00am and check out in the office before leaving. Failure to check out of the building or report back into the building properly from an appointment or coming in late will result in an unexcused absence.
