GO INDIANS!

Any student leaving during the day due to a doctor appointment, dental appointment or illness MUST have a parent call by 9:00am and check out in the office before leaving. Failure to check out of the building or report back into the building properly from an appointment or coming in late will result in an unexcused absence.

2019-20 Course Registration Forms – Students must fill out and return their new course registration forms to Mrs. Weber by end of day today, March 15. Students must also complete the form on Google Forms as well.  Failure to Google Form will result in Mrs. Lane choosing classes for the students.

The next Key Club meeting will be held on Tues., March 19, at 11:00am in Room 648.

The 2019 Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) – The Youth Hunter Education Challenge is an advanced hunter education program designed to build and further develop skills taught in basic hunter education courses. For more information about the program, please visit: http://yhec.nra.org. Participants must be 18 years old or younger and have completed a State Hunter Education Course. Parent or guardian permission is required. No prior experience needed, but participants must be able to safety handle and shoulder firearms.

Do you enjoy shooting sports, hunting, or just like being outdoors? Would you like the opportunity to enhance your shooting skills and learn more about wildlife, survival skills and hunter responsibility? If you answered YES, then the Iowa Youth Hunter Education Challenge is for YOU!!

Date of event: June 1, 2019

Location: Rock Creek Marina and Campground in Camanche, IA

The challenge is conducted under simulated hunting conditions to provide the best practical environment for reinforcing and testing a young hunter’s skill. This event will feature:

Archery, Rifle, Shotgun, Muzzleloader, Hunter Responsibility Exam, Hunter Safety Trail, Orienteering and Wildlife Identification.

LAST CALL – High School 2019 yearbooks are on sale from Mrs. Sheppard or any yearbook staff for $55.00. The deadline to order one is Fri., April 19.

Milk - $.30

All students – Please check your lunch account balance if you are unsure of your account status. Absolutely NO MEALS or ALA CARTE items may be purchased if you have a negative balance. All lunch deposits must be turned into the office by 9:45 am. We are no longer able to accept cash for ala carte items during the serving lunch hours.

Activity Passes – Student = $30.00; Adult = $60.00; Family = $125.00. There will be a $2.00 replacement fee charged for lost passes.

Student ID/Lunch Cards – There will be a $2.00 fee charged for lost cards and a $1.00 for lost lanyards.

Parking Permits/Tags – ALL students driving to school MUST have a parking tag hanging on the rearview mirror facing out. The parking lot will be checked and violators will face consequences. The cost of a parking tag is $5.00 and may be purchased in the office with a completed parking permit form from Mrs. Walters.

Reminder to all students – Please do not leave books or chromebooks sitting in the Freshman hallway as they are likely to be damaged or stolen. Any books/chromebooks found in this hallway will be taken to the office.

The Junior class still has garbage bags for sale. The cost is $15.00 per box of 100 bags. Please contact a Junior or call the High School at 563-259-3008 to order. Quantities are limited so don’t delay!
