Semester Grades – End of first semester is Friday, Jan. 18. First semester grades will be emailed home by February 1st. If you do not receive yours or would like a report card(s) mailed to your home, please contact the office at 563-259-3008.

Monday, Jan. 21 – Martin Luther King Day – NO SCHOOL

Pre-ACT Testing for Sophomores will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 29.

A Key Club meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 12 from 11:00-11:30 am in Room 648. Bring your lunch to the meeting.

The AEA will conduct hearing checks and rechecks on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 9:30 am in the Conference Room.

High School 2019 yearbooks are now on sale from Mrs. Sheppard or any yearbook staff for $55.00.

Reminder to all students – Please do not leave books or chromebooks sitting in the Freshman hallway as they are likely to be damaged or stolen. Any books/chromebooks found in this hallway will be taken to the office.

All students – Please check your lunch account balance if you are unsure of your account status. Absolutely NO MEALS or ALA CARTE items may be purchased if you have a negative balance. All lunch deposits must be turned into the office by 9:45 am. We are no longer able to accept cash for ala carte items during the serving lunch hours.

Activity Passes – Student = $30.00; Adult = $60.00; Family = $125.00. There will be a $2.00 replacement fee charged for lost passes.

Student ID/Lunch Cards – There will be a $2.00 fee charged for lost cards and a $1.00 for lost lanyards.

Parking Permits/Tags – ALL students driving to school MUST have a parking tag hanging on the rearview mirror facing out. The parking lot will be checked and violators will face consequences. The cost of a parking tag is $5.00 and may be purchased in the office with a completed parking permit form from Mrs. Walters.

The Junior class still has garbage bags for sale. The cost is $15.00 per box of 100 bags. Please contact a Junior or call the High School at 563-259-3008 to order. Quantities are limited so don’t delay! 


Bowling Tournament

  • The Camanche-DeWitt Coalition is having a bowling tournament on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Camanche Bowling Alley from 12- 5 p.m.;
  • This will be a 9-pin tournament;
  • 4 people per team/$40 per team for entry. Pay online when you register your team;
  • Limited number of teams available so register early;
  • There will be prizes and food specials available;
  • Open to EVERYONE;
  • Guest Speaker, DeWitt School Resource Officer Justin Witt, will talk about e-cigarettes, juuling and vaping;

1/7/19 - The Clinton County Farm Bureau will be offering a Farm Safety class to students ages 12 and up, starting on Sunday, January 6. The class will be held at the Farm Bureau office in DeWitt on Sundays from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. for eight weeks.  Lunch will be provided and computers are needed.
