The Camanche School Activities Department has announced the newest Athletics Hall of Fame members. The class of 2019 includes seven exceptional individuals, as well as girls’ track team members who competed at the state meet from 1986-1988.

Individual selections into the Athletics Hall of Fame include Kelsay McCausland ‘07, Gary Foster ’86, Doug Timmer ’88, Mike Campie ’96, Brent Carstensen ’87, Brad Lego ’68, and Coach Mike Ashby.  The 1986-88 girls’state track competitors, coached by Jane Montgomery and LuAnn Borrison, include Audrey Everson, Alysia Gonzales Hill, Michelle Gertson Curran, Michelle Null Sikkema, Shannon Phelps Wisor, Ami Seeser Henricksen, Stacy Shaff Seeser, Michelle Winter Keen, Paula Hundley Stutting, Gerry Edens Hardison, Kelly Fuhrmann, and Michele Meyermann.

“I’m very impressed with the committee’s selections for such a solid 2019 class.  We’re looking forward to honoring everyone for their outstanding team and individual accomplishments as the newest members of the Athletics Hall of Fame,” Activities Director Brett Cline commented.    

The Hall of Fame activities will take place the weekend of January 18-19, 2019.  The Class of 2019 Hall of Fame honorees, along with the current Hall of Fame members will be introduced between the Girls’ Varsity and Boys’ Varsity games, at approximately 7:30pm Friday.  A meet-and-greet for the Hall of Famers will take place at Imperial Lanes after the games.

The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Banquet will be held at Gil’s Ballroom in Clinton, IA beginning at 1pm on Saturday. The banquet is open to the public.
