S’MORE FOOD DRIVE

The food drive has begun!  The camping trip has started!  We have many class S’MORES that are moving along the campsite to the blazing bonfire!  Mrs. Clarke‘s 3rd grade class is currently in 1st place and Mrs. Munck‘s 1st grade class is not too far behind in 2nd place.  Make sure to drop off your canned goods and non-perishable items now through the 16th to stick with the other classes.  If you fall behind it could end up being a sticky mess!  The winning class at the end of each week earns an extra recess and the overall winning class gets an extra recess, a special S’MORE treat, and the traveling Food Drive trophy!

CRAYOLA COLORCYCLE

Mrs. Kennedy and some of her students just sent more worn out/dried up markers to Crayola for recycling!  So far, our school has sent 19 POUNDS of markers just this school year!  Recycling old markers instead of throwing them away is one more way we can protect our environment.  We’d like to encourage you to send worn out/dried up markers to school.  Any brand of marker including dry erase markers are acceptable.  Mrs. Kennedy has a clearly labeled box outside of her classroom where the markers can be placed.  Let’s all do our part to help protect our environment!
