Any student leaving during the day due to a doctor appointment, dental appointment or illness MUST have a parent/guardian call by 9:00 a.m. and check out in the office before leaving.  Failure to check out of the building or report back into the building properly from an appointment or coming in late will result in an unexcused absence.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CREATION:  Students entering 9th grade through 12th grade in the fall may find this summer session for creating Artificial Intelligence with a social conscience fun and interesting. https://www.inspiritai.com/liveonline.

FROM NURSE AMANDA – If your child has prescription or over-the-counter medication at school, it is important to stop in and pick it up before or at the completion of the school year.  Leftover medication cannot be sent home with students for the safety of them and others.  Any medications not picked up by June 18 will be discarded.  If you have questions regarding our medication policy, feel free to contact me.

SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM – Students, up to the age of 18, have the ability to go to either Jefferson Elementary or Eagle Heights Elementary schools in Clinton, to participate in the summer meal program.  There is no charge for these lunches. The program runs from June 7th through August 6th (excluding July 4th) from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., M-F.

CAMANCHE SUMMER READING PROGRAM – The public library will be holding a summer reading program from June 15 – July 31.  All programs and activities at the library are free for everyone.  All children from Preschool to 12th grade can register for the program.  Registration is from June 8 – 12.  For more information, please call 563-249-1106 or visit www.camanchepubliclibrary.org.

GRADUATION ITEMS – Seniors who were not able to pick up their graduation items and caps/gowns are able to so now in the office. Please note that all orders must be paid for in full in order to pick them up.  If you have any questions or need to pay off your balance by credit card, please call 1-800-JOSTENS (1-800-567-8367).

BALANCES DUE

Thank you to all of the families that are keeping your students’ lunch accounts in good standing even as we are currently able to offer free breakfasts and lunches to all students.  If your lunch account currently has a negative balance, please remember that a la carte items are not free.  It may also be due a negative balance that carried over from last year. Activity Passes – Student = $30.00; Adult = $60.00; Family = $125.00. There will be a $2.00 replacement fee charged for lost passes.

 Student ID/Lunch Cards – There will be a $2.00 fee charged for lost cards.

Parking Permits/Tags – ALL students driving to school MUST have a valid parking tag hanging on the rearview mirror facing outThe parking lot will be randomly checked and vehicles parked without a parking permit, or parked in an incorrect designated parking space, will face consequences.  The cost of a parking tag is $5.00 and may be purchased in the office with a completed parking permit form from Mrs. Walters.

The Junior class has garbage bags for sale.  The cost is $15.00 per box of 100 bags.  Please contact a Junior or call the High School at 563-259-3008 to order.
