SUMDOG MATH CONTEST
Good luck to our school Sumdog teams! Our two school teams start their competition on Friday. Each team member has to solve 1000 math problems at their level. They have one week to attempt all those math problems. Most of their work is done outside of the school day. The students are scored based on their accuracy, and if there is a tie, their fluency. We are so proud of these students for seeking out this opportunity for an additional challenge in math. The teams are coached by Sheryl Kennedy. There are 31 teams in the contest. The teams are from schools throughout Eastern Iowa.
Members of the blue team are: Michaela Gendreau, Maci Hammond, Brayden Phillips, Quinten Toppert, Miranda Tucker, Carsten Toler, Kade Varner, Luke Gravert, Lakin Springer, Gabby Sampson, and Katelynn Burken.
Members of the red team are: Owen Thomson, Wyatt Ohsann, Cameron Shaffer, Claire Dunlay, Sophia Johnson, Lily Laurion, Landon Green, Addison Totten, Hayleigh Lorenzen, Cody Gravert, and Madison Goff.
JUMP ROPE FOR HEART
