Camanche High School Announcements

Any student leaving during the day due to a doctor appointment, dental appointment or illness MUST have a parent/guardian call by 9:00 am and check out in the office before leaving.  Failure to check out of the building or report back into the building properly from an appointment or coming in late will result in an unexcused absence.

2020 and 2021 yearbooks are both on sale for $55.00 – anyone interested in purchasing a yearbook should see Mrs. Sheppard or any yearbook staff.

Parent-Teacher Conferences – Spring conferences will be held on Wed., March 3 and Thurs., March 4 from 1:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.  School will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m. on both of these days.  Please call the office at 563.259.3008 to schedule conferences with the teachers you would like to see. 

Conferences will be available in person or through Zoom. Please be ready to provide an email address if you would like to Zoom with the teachers. Teachers will send you an email with the link.

**There will be NO school on Fri., March 5.**

BALANCES DUE

Thank you to all of the families that are keeping your students’ lunch accounts in good standing even as we are currently able to offer free breakfasts and lunches to all students.  If your lunch account currently has a negative balance, please remember that a la carte items are not free.  It may also be due a negative balance that carried over from last year. Please make every effort to pay any outstanding balance as soon as possible.  If you have any questions regarding your lunch account balance, please call Taryn at 563-259-3004 or email tdeterman@camanchecsd.org. We will not be limiting spectators, but everyone MUST wear a mask and sit in the appropriately marked, socially distanced seats.

Mar. 2 – Pre-ACT/ACT Day

Mar. 15-19 – Spring Break

Apr. 19 – Graduation Delivery from Jostens – 10:00-11:00 (or a little later) in the Commons

Activity Passes – Student = $30.00; Adult = $60.00; Family = $125.00. There will be a $2.00 replacement fee charged for lost passes.

Student ID/Lunch Cards – There will be a $2.00 fee charged for lost cards.

Parking Permits/Tags – ALL students driving to school MUST have a valid parking tag hanging on the rearview mirror facing outThe parking lot will be randomly checked and vehicles parked without a parking permit, or parked in an incorrect designated parking space, will face consequences.  The cost of a parking tag is $5.00 and may be purchased in the office with a completed parking permit form from Mrs. Walters.

The Junior class has garbage bags for sale.  The cost is $15.00 per box of 100 bags.  Please contact a Junior or call the High School at 563-259-3008 to order.
