PROM 2019 - Prom will be held on Sat., May 11 from 8pm – 11pm in the High School Gymnasium. Sign-up will begin on Mon., April 29 in the Office; the cost is $25.00 per person. Deadline to sign up is Weds., May 8. Guest Registration Forms for non-Camanche High School guests who want to attend the dance will also be available at this time and must be turned in NO LATER than 3:15pm on Weds., May 8. Gateway After Prom will be held on May 11 from 11:00pm – 3:00am at Clinton High School.
Change into comfy clothes and come participate in Bags and Ping Pong Tourneys, Laser Tag and much more! Back by popular demand this year.....There will be Escape Rooms! Solve the mystery by working with your team and receiving clues to unlock your way out of the room....Prizes will be awarded for the teams that escape the rooms in the fastest time. The evening concludes with nationally renowned hypnotist: Brian Imbus. Cost is $5.00 per person and includes lots of great food, soda, coffee and water. At the end of the evening attendees will have a chance to win great prizes including electronics, cash and more! Come and have fun!
"Glow Walk 2019" - All money raised from the Walk goes to help all five schools K through 12 in the Clinton County School District keep in school counseling, provide depression and anxiety assistance, help pay for guest speakers and more. Camanche Days Cookbook Cover Competition – Create a cookbook cover that incorporates ALL the years from 1980-2019: the shape of Iowa, the Indian Head, and the words “40 years of celebration”. There will be a prize for the winner. Turn the posters in by May 1st to the Middle School Office, Mrs. Wallace, Madison DeWitt-Sprout or Aubriana Graves.
The Genesis VNA is offering the meningococcal (MenACWY) vaccines to all 11th graders who qualify. This vaccine is required prior to school in the fall under Iowa law for all students entering the 12th grade unless a valid exemption is provided. The vaccine is at no cost and a clinic will be scheduled in the spring and administered here at school on May 7, 2019.
The 2019 Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) – The Youth Hunter Education Challenge is an advanced hunter education program designed to build and further develop skills taught in basic hunter education courses. Participants must be 18 years old or younger and have completed a State Hunter Education Course. Parent or guardian permission is required.

Attendance – Any student leaving during the day due to a doctor appointment, dental appointment or illness MUST have a parent call by 9:00am and check out in the office before leaving. Failure to check out of the building or report back into the building properly from an appointment or coming in late will result in an unexcused absence.
